PETOL™ Machine Tongs

PETOL™ MACHINE TONGS provide positive grip in the upward motion and ratchets in the downward motion. Non-crushing and non-jamming action are features that make this tong outstanding. The MA16HS can be furnished with a 3-4 chain combination for higher torque requirements.

Always use a load cell or other calibrated indicating device to monitor the line pull on the tong to avoid overload.

Do not actuate the tong with an overhead bridge crane unless the crane is guarded from derailing. Sudden release of energy, such as when a connection is broken loose, can cause an overhead bridge crane to spring upwards resulting in the crane derailing. Derailing of an overhead crane may result in the crane falling to the floor resulting in injury or death.
